Welcome to the Beaver County Children and Youth Services Online Information Center. We are a county-administered, state-mandated, social service agency that is charged with the responsibility of evaluating situations in which children are alleged to be neglected and/or abused.

Implicit to the mandate is the responsibility to provide social services that are directed toward enhancing family ties and preserving the family unit.  The agency attempts to keep troubled families together while increasing the quality of life for each member through the delivery of social services. To accomplish this objective, a casework format utilizing supportive, supplemental, and in some instances, substitutive care services is incorporated into individually designed Family Service Plans.
